Reflecting my performance
Pitch reflection
30th March 2020 review
For my pitch, I created my own PowerPoint to convey my idea alongside a small speech I had spent a quarter of an hour on to outline the basics of what I wanted to speak about. My favourite part of my pitch was the Powerpoint as it was simple in the detail it included but it was colourful and eye-catching which drew attention to the important bullet points in the presentation. However, despite making this presentation that I was very proud of, I had not understood how to use the presenting feature on google hangouts so I didn't show the Powerpoint whilst presenting. This was due to the circumstances but I could have looked into the feature before and learnt how it worked to avoid this issue. Despite these issues, I believe I made up for the mistake with my pitching skills and my speech and knowledge on the topic I was presenting. I decided to go first in presenting to complete it as fast as possible to continue with my work as well as being confident in the work that I had completed previously for the presentation. I had briefly researched the topic to have points that I know I wanted to include in the final documentary. In addition, I knew what I wanted my documentary to look like as well as the style I would follow. Finally, if I were to redo the presentation I would do more on the other topics I had researched instead of just putting them on my blog and ask the opinions of the teachers on which topic to pick. Despite this, I am happy and confident with the topic I have picked in the best I could have done as the resources for the topic are readily available and I believe I can complete it to a high standard.
